Advanced technology

Induction is an advanced cooking technology that gives you incredibly precise control of temperature with extremely even heat distribution. It uses a magnetic field to make your cookware the heating element as opposed to the cooktop itself.

This means that the surface of the cooktop never actually heats up, so the only heat left in the cooktop itself when you remove a pot is from the pot’s residual heat — leaving the cooktop cooler to the touch and reducing the risk of burns.

Efficient and economic

Induction cooking is highly efficient because very little heat energy escapes during the process, unlike with an open gas flame or with ceramic cooktops. This means your cookware heats up quicker, resulting in economising your time as well as your energy bill.

Furthermore, because you can clean spills much quicker and easier, your cooktop will stay looking new for much longer — giving you longer return on your investment.

10 Amp plug & play

Renovating? Doing a new build? Or are you simply wanting to reduce your bills and carbon footprint by going induction?

The intelligentpower phasing system in the ECI604T induction cooktop limits the total power at 2200W, allowing you to plug it into your existing 10 Amp powerpoint — no electrician required!

The cooktop will balance the power depending on how many zones are in useat the same time.
Note: If hardwiring, the power limitations will remain.
